Parent-Teacher Reporting Interviews
Using the Online Booking System | Appointment Location
The Parent-Teacher Reporting Interviews will be held on Thursday 18th July 2024 between 4.00pm and 7.00pm. All interviews will be of 5 minutes duration. Normal classes will operate for the day.
Your child’s report will be accessible to you through your Connect login on Friday 21 June 2024. You can access it via your phone/desktop/laptop computer by going to connect.det.wa.edu.au in your web browser and using your parent login details sent to you by the Department of Education or the mobile Connect App (new Connect App is available) or the link on the Lawley website www.lawley.wa.edu.au under Quick Links on the right-hand side (Parent Connect DoE). The PTO system will be available for bookings from 8.00am Monday 24th June.
All information related to booking of staff time and the location of teachers is provided below.
If you do need to contact a teacher before the evening, you can do so through email. All teachers' email addresses are located on the school website.

In conjunction, the Mount Lawley Senior High School's Careers Expo will be held in the new building's Digital Studio and Maker Space rooms. Parents and students from all year groups are invited to attend the Expo and speak with representatives from over twenty organisations representing higher education, training and employment. |
Using the Online Booking System
By using the PTO system you will be able to book the interview times that suit you from any Internet connected computer. You may call the Senior, Upper or Middle School office to make an appointment or alternative arrangements if you do not have access to a computer. Please be aware that your preferred time for a particular teacher may already be committed.
You will be able to access the PTO system from 8.00am Monday 24th June as follows:
- Go to the school's home page.
- Click the PTO icon as shown here
- Request your individual PIN/Password by providing your details and email address. You will then receive an email from PTO with your unique login details.
- Parents can also book via the PTO mobile phone app using the school code: htg37
Full instructions are provided to you after log in. Please note the following points:
- When you log in, the system only displays your own child/children. Bookings are made for individual parents/carers who are listed as PG1 (Parent Guardian 1) on our records. If two parents/carers wish to attend a single interviewtimeslot, one parent/carer should make the booking, inform the other parent/carer and then both can PTO does not provide for multiple parent interview times for the same student. Other appointments can be made on alternative days by contacting the teachers directly.
- You will only see time slots which are available at the time you are using the system. As time slots are booked for teachers, those timeslots are no longer displayed as available. PTO prevents double-booking of teachers or parents/carers.
- When you have made all the bookings you require, you can print a report of your bookings in time order. You can log in and change bookings any time up to 10.00am on the day of the interviews.
- Please be aware that this is a "live" booking system and other parents may be accessing the system simultaneously. If you attempt to book a timeslot that is not available a message will be displayed to indicate this.
- Location maps are available at the top of your booking screen or on this page below. The location has changed to the new Building opposite the Café.
- If you encounter any problems using PTO please notify the school office, preferably via email at mountlawley.shs.enquiries@education.wa.edu.au
- Hand sanitizer will be made available to all.
