Middle School - Resilience & Anti-Bullying

As part of their induction to Middle School, our students will look at the following:

• An awareness of their emotional intelligence and what their input needs to be into building positive relationships at Mount Lawley SHS.
• A clear understanding of what harassment is as a victim, bystander or as a perpetrator.
• A confident willingness to speak up should they or others be harassed and a plan of what to do and who to tell.
• A clear understanding of what bullying is and what bullying is not.
• Ability to recognise and where appropriate seek assistance in managing cyber bullying.
• A resilient determination to speak up and not tolerate the bullying of themselves or others and safe practices in how to approach a responsible adult to ensure action is taken to address it.
