Science Scholarships, 2021
Introduction
Mount Lawley Senior High School is a school that has served its community for over 50 years. It has an esteemed reputation in the community and counts amongst its alumni high achievers such as, civic leaders, academics, professionals, tradespeople and sporting people.
The values of the school include Excellence. The school's leadership and community strongly support student success and academic rigour.
Science Scholarships
In accordance with the school's Values and focus on academic excellence, a scholarship is offered to students entering Years 7, 10 and 11 in 2021. To be awarded the Year 11 scholarship, a student must be enrolled in at least one senior secondary Science Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE) course.
The students awarded one of the scholarships will be expected to maintain high standards of behaviour, attend school regularly and achieve acceptable results.
Value of the Scholarships
The value of the scholarships is as follows:

The scholarship may be expended on course contributions or charges or on school uniform items (from the P&C Uniform Shop).
Selection Criteria
The criteria for selecting the winner of the scholarships is as follows:
- Academic Achievement, especially in Science.
- Interest in Science.
Students applying for the scholarship are to submit the following:
- Application Form.
- Copy of last school report.
- Statement from the student addressing the selection criteria (maximum one typed page).
