Korean Association of WA Scholarship, 2021
Introduction
Mount Lawley Senior High School is a school that has served its community for over 50 years. It has an esteemed reputation in the community and counts amongst its alumni high achievers such as, civic leaders, academics, professionals, tradespeople and sporting people.
The values of the school include Excellence. The school's leadership and community strongly support student success and academic rigour.
Korean Association of WA Scholarship
In accordance with the school's Values and focus on academic excellence, two scholarships are offered, one to a student in Middle School and one in Upper/Senior School in 2021. To be awarded the scholarship, a student must be enrolled in a Korean Language Course for Middle/Upper School and Certificate II of Applied Languages Studies (Korean) for Senior School.
The student awarded the scholarship will be expected to maintain high standards of behaviour, attend school regularly and achieve acceptable results.
Value of the Scholarship
The value of the scholarship is as follows:

The scholarship may be expended on course contributions or charges or on school uniform items (from the School's Uniform Shop).
Selection Criteria
The criteria for selecting the winner of the scholarship is as follows:
- Academic Achievement, especially in Korean.
- Interest in Korean.
Students applying for the scholarship are to submit the following:
- Application Form.
- Copy of last school report.
- Statement from the student addressing the selection criteria (maximum one typed page).
