A big thankyou from the Year 11 General Health Studies class to everyone who donated to our Share the Dignity campaign.
Overall, we collected over 1,000 products, with 400 being much needed expensive period products.
We pounded the pavement to collect products kindly donated by Priceline, Woolworths, Clear Skin and Beaufort Chemist. We also had generous donations from the Mount Lawley Senior High School Community which included staff, students, especially from our Middle School, parents, friends and family.
We had generoud donations of over $1000, of which was used to purchase more products and bags, sourced and repurposed sustainably from thrift stores.
With this we were able to supply the Charity with 76 bags of which 49 were adult and 27 for teens.
These bags will help women and their children in shelters over Christmas who have been displaced due to domestic violence and homelesssness.
