Historic Bilateral Agreement Signed Today

 

At Mount Lawley Senior High School a landmark agreement was signed to fully fund Western Australian public schools by Prime Minister Hon Anthony Albanese MP, Premier Hon Roger Cook MLA , Hon Jason Clare MP  Minister for Education, and Hon Dr Tony Buti MLA Minister for Education WA. With the signing of the 'Better and Fairer Schools Agreement 2025-2034, all Western Australian public schools will be fully and fairly funded by the Albanese and Cook Governments following this historic bilateral agreement signed today at the school.

 

Also new facilities at Mount Lawley Senior High School, including a 20-classroom two storey block and modern STEM learning areas, were officially opened by the Premier Roger Cook and Education Minister Dr Tony Buti. They visited the impressive 20 general classrooms, STEM facilities, which will benefit students, staff and local families. The new building also includes a space used for robotics and technologies and a digital studio for graphics and media production programs.
