ANZAC Service 2023

image.jpegTuesday the 25th of April 2022 marked ANZAC day, and annual day of mourning for those lost in various World Wars, but also a day of celebration, to give gratitude for those who fought for us, and for those who paid the ultimate price.

On this day, the Year 12 prefects, and numerous staff members, attended one of the annual services organised by the Mount Lawley-Inglewood RSL. Despite the bitter cold morning, the ceremony was lovely. Prefect, Kate Fragomeni, read a letter from a soldier, and Mount Lawley Senior High School Chaplain, Andrew Paul, read a prayer of remembrance. Other prefects assisted guests and veterans in laying their wreaths and were invited to a delightful morning tea after the ceremony. We were honoured to support this commemorative service.
