The Perth Comic Arts Festival shares its love for sequential storytelling in a free, creator-focused event that's all about making comics accessible for all ages. Our 2022 program is bigger and better than ever, featuring a range of talks, workshops, market hall, exhibition and activities.
We're going to be celebrating the power and beauty of comics at the Western Australian Museum Boola Bardip over Saturday the 6th and Sunday the 7th of August.
Saturday is our Academy Day for aspiring comics makers, educators and aficionados to come together for a deep dive into comics.
Sunday is our Market Day, ideal for family groups, where 85 of Australia's more imaginative comics makers will be sharing their works and running workshops.
Our exhibition, "TALE TOWN: Tales from the Hermit Kingdom" will be open from the 6th to the 30th of August.
PCAF is a volunteer run, not for profit organisation that is committed to ensuring our entire program is entirely free to take part in. This is thanks to the incredible work of our volunteer committee, the generous contributions of our sponsors and our volunteer team.
