DBTeen – FREE Mental wellbeing skills groups for young people and families run by LifeLine

DBTeen is a dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) program for young people aged 14-18 who exhibit difficulty regulating their emotions and behaviour. The program is delivered in multifamily groups where carers develop the same skills alongside their teens. The program runs for 12 weeks and consists of weekly 3 hour sessions that run in the early evening or a weekend morning. The program will start in September 2020. These are a highly sought after sessions and families are strongly advised to sign up quickly to get a spot.

Sessions will be held at one of these locations:

  • Gosnells- Tuesdays 5.30-8.30pm
  • Rockingham- Saturdays 9.30am-12.30pm
  • Joondalup- Saturdays 9.30am-12.30pm
  • Mindaire- Wednesdays 5.30pm-8.30pm
  • Midland- Tuesdays 5.30pm-8.30pm

Unfortunately young people who are already receiving tertiary (hospital) psychiatric services are not eligible for referral.
