Junior String Orchestra

Our Junior String Orchestra performed on Sunday at Churchlands SHS for the ABODA festival.  They did a brilliant job under the direction of Jade Martin, performing three really well rehearsed challenging pieces. Their ensemble skills and dynamic range were superb.

 On a side note - the logistics of getting this many double basses and cellos across a school, up stairs, down a hallway through a series of very narrow doors was a big challenge.  Seeing our students assist each other and demonstrate consideration and courtesy towards each other and students from other schools was wonderful.
