Jazz Festival

I had the absolute pleasure of attending the WA Jazz festival at WAAPA over the weekend.  Our Big Band (directed by Benn Hodgkins)  were absolutely outstanding, achieving huge applause for the many excellent soloists.  There were totally professional in their presentation and they performed brilliantly.

For the second session for Jazz combo groups - our Mount Lawley Chamber Jazz group directed by Chris Scaglioni were outstanding.  The five students that make up this band: Blake, Joshua, Gabriel, Callum and Kate once again made music teachers very proud with their fabulous stage presence, wonderful musicianship and professionalism.
