Eden Selected for Premier's ANZAC Tour of Vietnameden-gostelow.jpg

In 2018 Eden, a Year 11 Modern History student, wrote an essay about the importance of a long gone relative, who went to World War I. Eden never knew him, but through research was able to establish why family history is important and how the 'ordinary man' makes our history. After submitting the essay and having an interview Eden was chosen as one of the ten students, state-wide, to participate in the Premier's ANZAC Tour to Vietnam in April 2019. The students will be investigating Australia's military involvement in the region following World War II, as well as the 50th anniversary of the Battle of Binh Ba, otherwise known as Operation Hammer. The tour will visit important historical sites before taking part in ANZAC Day commemorations in Hanoi.

Congratulations, Eden.
