NAPLAN Information for 2018

Mount Lawley is well positioned to be among the first schools to be able to administer the NAPLAN test online.

The Australian Curriculum, Assessment & Reporting Authority (ACARA) intends to deliver this year's Naplan tests in an online format , and will be conducting the tests at Mount Lawley in Week 3 and 4 of Term 2.

During that time, we will be seeking the support of parents to ensure that their child's device is in good working order and well charged at the beginning of each day of testing.

Students will also require a set of headphones for the tests.

Students and Parents are strongly encouraged to access the Public Demonstration Site. Accessing this site will give students a chance to familiarise themselves with the functionality of the new platform that requires students to type, drag and drop, and listen to audio prompts.

All students in Year 7 and Year 9 will be participating in a practice test on 5 th April 2018 to further familiarise students with the testing formats before the actual testing in Week 3 of Term 2.

Enquiries about Naplan can be directed to Steven Raphael at the school.
