Retro Gift Inspires Drama Department

Some 250 articles of retro clothing dating back more than 60 years were donated to Mount Lawley SHS's Drama Department by school parent Russell Goodrick.

Russell donated them on behalf of his late mother Mrs Jean Glanville who was a keen amateur thespian.

"I just knew this is where she would have wanted the items to go" , said Russell.

The Drama Department are very appreciative of this philanthropic gift to the school, as we have many production set in the 50's and 60's and often find sourcing period clothing a costly exercise.

The students and staff have had fun dressing up and remembering moments of day's gone by.
