Bugle Presentation by the RSL
The school was very pleased to recently receive a bugle as a gift from the RSL.
The presentation, a part of the Centenary of ANZAC commemorations, was one of 20 presented to selected Western Australian schools.
The Bugle was presented during our ANZAC Day Assembly by the CEO of the RSL, Mr Phil Orchard.
The following week, Ben (Year 12) was able to give the Bugle its first performance, playing Last Post and Reveille at our Ex-Prisoners of War Association Memorial Service in Kings Park.
It was pleasing to have Mr Graham Edwards, the President of the RSL WA in attendance.
The school is proud to have been selected by the RSL for this honour, and we look forward to using the instrument for all of our future ANZAC Day and Ex-POW commemorations.
