Mike and the Mechanics - School Volunteers
Shortly, a local newspaper will feature school volunteer, Mike Harrison, pictured below working with some of our students.
School Volunteer Association coordinator, Lee Patrick, will visit the school this Friday to see the Bike Repair Club in action.
We thank her for her interest, commitment and the great support she is giving Mount Lawley Senior High School.
Peter Snell, Rotary representative for Bentley/Curtin, is collecting repaired bikes for Timor this Friday.
This is our first shipment and we thank Peter for finding the time in his very busy schedule to help us.
Careers and Vet Coordinator, Catherine Smith is also speaking to our students on Friday about a part time job opportunity at a Carine bike store.
This is an exciting prospect and we thank her for keeping the interests of our club members in mind.
The School Chaplain, Andrew and his team of cadets, recently moved our shed (donated by Bunnings) to a more appropriate site. Thank you!
Finally, Andrew Outen and the Design and Techology staff continue to be great supporters - in too many ways to list in this short update- of our club.
We appreciate their ever-willing assistance.
