Health Expo 2013
The Mount Lawley Senior High School Health Committee is hosting a Health Expo on Friday 15 November from 9:30am - 2:30pm ... and you are invited!
The main focus for this years Expo is "Alcohol, Think Again".
Held in the School Gym, students will have an opportunity to have a go at many activities, enter competitions and gather information about local resources and programs available to them in their community.
Some of the activities include:
- RAC Education
- Don't Drink and Drown
- Save-a-mate
- Art competition
- Smoothies
- health checks
- dance machines
- and more.
Mount Lawley Senior High School has recently become a member of the Local Drug Action Group (LDAG), who has have funded the majority of this Expo along with a number of local suppliers and government agencies.
Students will be rotated throughout the day and Parents are welcome to visit anytime during the day.
We are also expecting visits by students from Mt Lawley and Coolbinia Primary Schools.
