Sailing Expedition Success
Another successful year sailing has been completed on the 2 day Swan River Expedition by our Year 11 Outdoor Education students.
Blessed with beautiful weather with challenging winds, our intrepid sailors worked in their crews diligently to achieve great success in meeting their expedition goals.
Our boats travelled from the University of WA Water Sports Complex under the Narrows Bridge to South Perth, over to the Canning Bridgein Applecross, then to Point Walter and finally returning to UWA on the second day. Celebrations were had on completing the River Trek with hand shakes and lots of complements by all. A big thank you to Chris Goldacre from the State Sailing Centre and Bruce Meakins from UWA Sports for their tremendous support!
