I am honored to coach the team this year. My name is Corey Easley I am the youth worker here at Mount Lawley Senior High School.

I have been associated with and been playing basketball all my life. I have played on 4 continents in my 5 years as a professional and was a scholarship Div 1 basketball player at the University of Montana. I have coached high school basketball in the states along with doing player development the last 10 years. I currently coach the U/20's WABL team for the East Perth Eagles who I also currently play for.

As for the Lawley Basketball team I have big plans.

The guys have been selected through a tryout process that happened last year. One thing that I wanted was a commitment from the players to be at practice and to get better. The guys are practicing twice a week. Commitment is just one thing I want from the team another is a goal; this goal is to truly learn the game and compete at the highest level they are capable. What I want the most is for the kids to understand what it means to be part of a team and to have a responsiblility to each other. Along with being held accountable for their action on and off the court, I need them to trust their teammate, learn good sportsmanship and to be ultimate competitors.
