Health and Physical Education

Health and Physical Education promotes physical activity, teamwork, resilience and healthy decision-making, supporting students’ physical, emotional and social wellbeing.

Health and Physical Education at Mount Lawley Senior High School focuses on developing healthy, active and positive contributors to the school community.

The Health and Physical Education team aims to provide a variety of learning experiences that develop healthy, active, positive contributors to the Mount Lawley community. Our programs are designed with a holistic vision where all students are given the opportunity to develop physical skills and abilities along with resilience, teamwork and leadership within all learning area contexts.

Health and Physical Education is located within a shared facility with ECU Mount Lawley Sport and Fitness Centre. Mount Lawley HPE has access to a dual court indoor gymnasium and opportunities throughout the year to access a Multi-Purpose Fitness room, along with outdoor tennis courts, basketball and netball courts, two oval spaces and access to Hamer Park.
