Excellence | Language | Cultural Engagement
The Gold Educational Tours Scholarship supports this vision by providing financial assistance for students studying ATAR Japanese. Two scholarships are offered for 2026: one for a Year 11 student and one for a Year 12 student. Recipients are expected to maintain high standards of behaviour, attend school regularly, and achieve satisfactory academic results. The scholarship funds may be used for course contributions, charges, or school uniform items purchased from the Mount Lawley Senior High School Uniform Shop.

The Jade Wei Award for International Students
The Jade Wei Award for International Students is presented annually to an outstanding Year 11 international student, recognising excellence in academic achievement, character and contribution to school life. This award honours the memory of Zi Shan (Jade) Wei (1999–2016), a student of exceptional integrity, dedication and academic ability. During her time at Mount Lawley Senior High School, Jade was highly respected by her teachers and deeply valued by her peers. She demonstrated a strong commitment to her studies, actively participated in school life, and generously supported fellow international students as a mentor. Jade’s determination to achieve her personal best and her passion for learning continue to inspire our school community. This award reflects her legacy and recognises students who embody these same values.

The Jaye Radisich Achievement Award
The Jaye Radisich Achievement Award
Leadership | Service | Achievement
The Jaye Radisich Achievement Award recognises a student in Years 10–12 who demonstrates outstanding commitment to their education, school community and the broader community. The award honours the legacy of former Mount Lawley Senior High School student Jaye Radisich, whose life was defined by leadership, service and a passion for helping others.
Jaye was a highly accomplished student and went on to become the youngest woman ever elected to the Western Australian Parliament, serving as the Member for Swan Hills from 2001 to 2008. Her dedication to community and determination to make a difference continue to inspire students today.

Selection Criteria
Applicants must:
Be a Year 10, 11 or 12 student
Demonstrate contribution to the broader community, including involvement in community improvement activities
Be actively involved in school life and extracurricular activities (e.g. student leadership, committees, sport)
Show commitment to academic achievement and personal growth
Preference may be given to a female student, though all eligible students are encouraged to apply.

Korean Association of WA Scholarship
Korean Association of WA Scholarship 2026
Excellence | Language | Cultural Engagement
The Korean Association of WA Scholarship recognises students demonstrating excellence and commitment in Korean language studies. Two scholarships are offered for 2026: one for a student in Year 9 or 10, and one for a student in Year 11 or 12. Students must be enrolled in a Korean language course (Upper School) or ATAR Korean (Senior School).
Recipients are expected to maintain high standards of behaviour, regular attendance and satisfactory academic progress.

Excellence | Humanities | Civic Understanding
The Michael Sutherland, OAM Scholarship for Humanities recognises student achievement and interest in Humanities and Social Sciences. Mr Michael Sutherland, former MLA for Mount Lawley and Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, established this scholarship to support students with a passion for areas such as law, history and civics.
The scholarship is offered to a student entering Year 11 in 2026 who is enrolled in at least one senior secondary Humanities and Social Sciences (WACE) course. Recipients are expected to maintain high standards of behaviour, attendance and academic performance.

Peter Sparbier Perpetual Mathematics Scholarship
Excellence | Mathematics | Academic Aspiration
Established through his bequest, this scholarship supports outstanding students to pursue advanced mathematics studies in Years 11 and 12. It is awarded annually to a Year 10 student preparing to undertake senior mathematics pathways.
Scholarship Value
Up to $1,500
The scholarship may be awarded as:
An iPad or notebook device (up to $1,500), or
$500 contribution towards Year 11 and 12 course charges
The award is presented in Term 4 (Year 10), with funds or device provided at the commencement of Year 11.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
Enrol in Mathematical Methods and Mathematical Specialist in Years 11 and 12
Undertake at least five WACE subjects in Year 12
Demonstrate outstanding mathematical ability
Show a clear passion for mathematics
Failure to meet these conditions may result in withdrawal of the scholarship.
Selection Criteria
Selection is based on:
Academic achievement in mathematics
Participation in external mathematics competitions (e.g. Australian Mathematics Competition)
A referee (teacher or principal) supporting the student’s mathematical ability
A student statement demonstrating commitment to advanced mathematics study (maximum one page)

The Rotary Club of Mount Lawley Music Scholarship supports a Year 11 student with outstanding musical ability and aspiration to excel in senior secondary music studies. To be eligible, the student must enrol in a senior secondary Music WACE course and demonstrate a commitment to both personal growth and contribution to the school’s musical community.
