Vale Rick Steele

It is with deep sadness that we acknowledge the passing of Rick Stelle, a true music legend whose talent, passion, and generosity has left an enduring mark on our school community. A gifted musician, Rick Stelle inspired generations with his artistry and dedication to music. His legacy lives on not only through his unforgettable perfpormances but also through the many young musicians he mentored and encouraged. His connection to our school was especially strong - his sons and daughters walked our hallways, and his influence resonated throughout our music program.

In recognition of his outstanding accomplishments, our school proudly named a Music Room in honour of the Steele family, ensuring his spirit will continue to inspire future generations of Mount Lawley Senior High School Students.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his wife and sons and daughters, Jesse, Luke, Jake and Katy, and all who knew and loved him. His music will forever echo in our hearts. Rest in peace Rick. Your legacy will never fade.
