Premier's Anzac Student Tour 2017 Presentation

On Thursday 2 ^nd March, the Premier's Anzac Student Tour presentation was held at the RSL headquarters in Perth City.

Principal Michael Camilleri and History teacher Lynne Noack accompanied Cale, from Year 12, to the presentation.

Cale joins a long successful list of Mount Lawley students who have successfully gained positions on this annual history tour.

All 10 students participating on this tour to Singapore were presented certificates and commended by the Minister For Education.

The 2017 Premier's Anzac Student Tour will take the students to Singapore to commemorate the 75 ^th anniversary of the fall of Singapore on February 15 ^th 1942.

The students will walk the paths of many weary soldiers, and look into the history that brought an empire to its knees with the surrender of the thousands of allied troops and collapse of the British defence of Australia from the Singapore harbours.
