Our school recently was awarded an Apple School of Excellence for showing leadership and creativity in the use of technology in the classroom and for sharing our experiences with others.

While we are a dual platform school, Macs are used extensively in Media, Music, Digital Photography, Computing in general. There are almost 90 iMacs in the school at the moment, a Mac xServe server and there are plans for a further 40 apple notebooks in the near future.

Software used is Adobe Photoshop for Digital Photograpy, Sibellius for Music, Garage Band for Music and Media in addition to the creation of podcasts in general classes.Our school site licence of Macromedia Studio MX 2004 enables the use of Fireworks, Dreamweaver, Flash and Freehand to used for all classes.
